As Australia heads towards a referendum asking us to enshrine an Indigenous voice to parliament into the constitution it can be difficult to know fact from fiction and how to vote.

To help our fellow Australians, here at The Kookaburra Buzz we’ve compiled a list of 10 signs you’re probably a No voter (for signs you might be a Yes voter click here).

  1. You don’t think it will help Indigenous people
  2. You don’t trust the government that says, “trust us”
  3. You prefer to deal in logic and facts over feelings
  4. You think the money should be spent on more fireworks to celebrate Australia Day on January 26th
  5. You’re an immigrant wondering if you’ll also get a voice to parliament
  6. You want to “Make Australia Great Again” and have a penchant for red baseball caps
  7. Your Indigenous, but don’t want any special privileges over other Australian’s
  8. Your favourite day of the week is Friday, when Pauline Hanson releases a new cartoon
  9. You’d prefer to be happy without “owning nothing”, but thanks anyway Klaus
  10. You’re a racist
